New Patients

Temporary Residents

Away from home

If you are ill while away from home or if you are not registered with a doctor but need to see one, you can receive emergency treatment from the GP for 14 days. After 14 days you will need to register with a GP as a patient or temporary patient.

You can be registered as a temporary patient for up to three months. After three months you will need to re-register as a temporary patient or permanently register with the practice.

To register as a temporary patient, simply call in and speak to our reception staff or call on 01472 722 000 during practice opening hours.

You cannot register as a temporary patient if you are already registered as a patient with another practice in North East Lincolnshire.

Coronavirus

In light of the current coronavirus pandemic, the practice is performing telephone triage for all patients prior to determining the best course of action for their care. Therefore, please be aware, that you will receive a call back from the appropriate medical professional to discuss your health problem.

Do not under any circumstances attend surgery without being asked to do so after telephone assessment. If you do attend for an appointment, please wear a face covering if you can.

The main symptoms of coronavirus are:

- A high temperature

- A new, continuous cough

- Loss or change to your sense of taste or smell

To protect others please get a test and stay at home if you have any of these symptoms.
