As a result, Open Door have introduced Extended Access.

This means you can book a routine appointment with a GP, Nurse or HCA on an evening or a weekend.

Call 0172 722000 to speak with a Care Navigator
Evenings 18:30 - 20:00
Weekends 09:00 - 12:00

PLEASE NOTE: Appointments may be offered at an alternative surgery.

Calling for an appointment? Our Care Navigators are here to help!

If you choose to call the surgery to arrange an appointment, please discuss your requirements with our trained Care Navigators.

Their specialist training enables them to help you access the most appropriate service.

Please remember that what you tell them is confidential information and will not be shared.

The more information you can give them, the easier it is to help in a safe and timely manner.

There are a growing number of online services that you may be able to use and avoid the need to come in for an appointment.

Routine appointments are best for an ongoing health issue, whereas seeing the correct health care professional is more important than being seen quickly.

In light of the current coronavirus pandemic, the practice is performing telephone triage for all patients prior to determining the best course of action for their care. Therefore, please be aware, that you will receive a call back from the appropriate medical professional to discuss your health problem.

Do not under any circumstances attend surgery without being asked to do so after telephone assessment. If you do attend for an appointment, please wear a face covering if you can.

The main symptoms of coronavirus are:
